David R. McGinley

David R. McGinley joined the law firm of Kupets & DeCaro, P.C. in 2005. Since that time, he has handled a significant case load consisting of motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, construction negligence, and medical malpractice cases. David has brought successful recoveries to numerous clients by way of settlement, mediation, arbitration, and jury trials. Recently, David second-chaired the trial of a construction worker who was injured by a truck driver. The case settled on the fourth day of trial for $3.7 million.
David received his law degree from Loyola University of Chicago and earned his Bachelor of Arts from Wabash College in Indiana. In 2005, he was admitted to the Illinois State Bar and Illinois Federal Bar. He is currently working to obtain in Indiana law license.
Since graduating from Loyola, David has been active in its moot court program as a coach for one of its national competitions and as a guest judge for Loyola’s Intra-school Moot Court Competition.
David is also active in many local and national bar association, including the Young Lawyers’ Section of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association, and Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
