Dennis J. DeCaro
Dennis J. DeCaro is a partner in the law firm of Kupets & DeCaro, P.C. The firm concentrates its practice in serious personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Dennis was born and raised in a near west suburb of Chicago. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida. He returned to Illinois and received his Masters degree in Industrial Relations from Loyola University, Chicago. His Masters thesis addressed the effects of second-hand smoke in the workplace.
Dennis received his Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School where he was a member of the John Marshall Law School Moot Court program, which is a national program wherein law students from the major law schools argue contemporary issues before lawyers and judges, including state and U.S. Supreme Court Justices. Dennis won first prize in the Fred F. Herzog Moot Court Competition, Chicago, Illinois, and was a semi-finalist in the Jerome Prince Evidence Moot Court Competition held in New York, New York.
Although is practice is focused in personal injury, wrongful death and civil rights actions, Dennis has extensive experience in drafting and arguing criminal and civil appeals in both the state and federal courts. Dennis is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, the Northern and Central United States District Courts, Eastern District of Wisconsin and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Dennis is a board member of the Greater Chicagoland Epilepsy Foundation and has handled several cases involving the rights of persons suffering from epileptic seizures. Most notably, Stetter v. Hanover Park, et al., which has been reported on nationally in Good Housekeeping Magazine, and locally in the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times and the Daily Herald. Dennis has proudly concentrated his practice fighting for victims that have been injured through the negligent or intentional conduct of others.
